This magazine was not started as a large, well-executed endeavor. The idea was straightforward: what if we provided a platform for students to write, express themselves, and feel heard? Something much larger began to develop from that tiny notion.
It was Ms. Fatima Arish who took that tiny initiative and helped make it a reality. Her explicit guidance, skills in fostering motivation, ability to unlock students’ potential, and nurturing of their talent were the major driving forces behind our masterpiece. She consistently reminded us that this magazine was not just about writing something but giving each student a voice, connecting with them, and encouraging their creativity. Even when we weren’t sure, we doubted our abilities, but she continued to believe in us and guide us through. Her assistance was crucial.
To add to this, we had some exceptionally committed students: Mahe Ale Aba, Rehma Ghazali, Minal Adeel, and Zarmeen Wajid (who is a proud alumna of Pak Turk). They have worked diligently and passionately from the uncertain beginning to the promising ending. Through late afternoon discussions, brilliant ideas, remarkable editing, and a lot of laughter, they and the rest of the club contributed to the creation of this magazine.
The magazine’s integration of Urdu, English, and Turkish is among our greatest accomplishments. Regardless of their preferred language, we wanted every student to feel included, even if it wasn’t always easy.
This magazine is evidence that beautiful things can emerge when people collaborate, have faith in a project, and put their hearts into it. We hope it encourages you to write, to speak up, and to realize how important your voice is.
