Of Scars and Forever by Maryam Khalid

Maryam Khalid was born in Pakistan on 3rd July 2009 and is currently a student at Aga Khan Higher Secondary School. Her journey as a writer began at the age of fourteen when she wrote her very first novel—an ambitious attempt inspired by her dissatisfaction with the ending of a book she had read. Although that novel never saw publication, it ignited a passion for storytelling that eventually led to her debut novel, Of Scars and Forever.

When she is not lost in the pages of a good book or weaving stories of her own, Maryam can be found listening to Taylor Swift songs, tending to her beloved flowers, or enjoying a warm cup of coffee. A devoted selenophile, she often finds inspiration beneath the moonlit sky.

Through her writing, Maryam hopes to create stories that linger in readers’ hearts long after the final page is turned. Of Scars and Forever marks the beginning of her journey as an author, with many more stories waiting to be told.
