About the Author
An’amta Choudhry (Faiza) is a writer and storyteller known for her horror fiction, supernatural themes, sharp roasts, and real life–inspired narratives. Born and raised in the UAE with Pakistani roots, she holds a Master’s degree in English Literature and a Bachelor’s degree in French. She began writing at a young age, inspired by the stories she grew up hearing and her habit of observing people closely. Her interest in the unseen world, along with exposure to real cases of ruqyah, pushed her towards crafting stories that blend fear, faith, human vulnerability, and spiritual reality. Professionally, An’amta has spent many years as a language trainer and lecturer. She has been part of several literary forums and is a celebrated writer whose work has appeared in multiple anthologies, magazines, and academic platforms. She is also working on several solo books. Storytelling remains her strongest art form; she has the rare ability to make words feel alive on the page. An’amta has a wide following for her spoken recitals, has served as a Goodwill Ambassador to the Indian Education Council, and has been a network head for a global language organisation. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Language, a role that has deepened her understanding of people, emotions, behaviour, and communication. All these experiences naturally shape her writing style, which is simple, honest, emotional, and deeply relatable. Today, she continues to write horror fiction and exorcismbased stories that are easy to read yet powerful in impact. Her aim is to make readers feel, reflect, and carry the weight of her words long after the story ends. Find more of her work and updates on Instagram at @Superwomanamta.
